Stubby antenna was the first thing I did lol. I always hate looking at oem antennas bouncing around in the wind.

Good Afternoon Everybody! Drove it the whole time I was on vacation and for the Christmas holiday. Now back at the office.

Also, will be bringing it in for maint. this coming Saturday. I'm wondering how much this will cost me.

Looks like it was a good decision to leave when I did, freeways are closed on both sides of us due to snow fall and these Californian people don’t have a clue when it comes to driving in it. On the even better side this place is empty, only myself, my buddy and his wife and the 3 heelers for miles!
Oh and solution to get the dog in the tent, used the fold up table to stand on and lifted him in.

The one I went with (RedArc SBI12D) uses the alternator to charge the aux battery but will also work with solar to charge main/aux. The main battery takes priority so if for any reason it is low it will pull from the aux. Also comes with their “smart start” feature, you can Bridge the 2 batteries together if you needed to jump yourself with a push of a button.

Was surprised how well the truck handles with the weight of the tent up so high. I can feel a tad more body roll but nothing to drastic. If I keep this rack a new sway bar would be needed. Rainy day rides are when I’m damn glad I have a heater and a windshield.

They will be folded in most of the time. lOL.
Even with the stick on “blind spot” circles, the non-tow mirrrs just weren’t cutting it when pulling my trailer.
The combination of the truck being lifted, and the trailer having a low deck height, meant that I had to choose between being able to see behind me, or see the trailer, couldn’t see both at the same time. Even with the tow mirrors folded down, I have a much better field of view, and with them up, i can see the trailer AND what’s behind it. [emoji106]
