I did manifold bolts/studs yesterday. Started taking everything apart and as I was taking the heat shield off, I was like this is gonna be easy, could see that the top stud broke off even with the manifold and then I moved to do the lower one and was like you stupid SOB. Got it done but don't ever want to do that again lol.

Today going to get the polisher out and give old BB a lot of love.

Why I installed a dash cam on wife’s vehicle. Activates when it feels something. Something to think about.

I’m sure you can find it way cheaper in the U.S. I found this to be a good middle ground dash cam. Has front and back.

Other brands to seriously consider are thinkware and blackvue. Thinkware also has very decent mid range products. Blackvue is for people with deeper pockets.

Papago has been at it for a while and other than the night vision in the back camera being just ok it’s pretty good.

The thinkware F800 has good reviews.

Scooped up a tyger tri-fold tonneau off craigslist for cheap! Looks great and fits really good!

Spent most the day using a da buffer with turtle wax's new ceramic polish and wax. Did a strip wash first then clay bar then the polish wax combo. Must say im impressed with the results. Also did a Griots glass sealer on all the windows. This was well needed process as after the last job i had i noticed some over spray on the entire truck . All done now other than the plastics and tires but supposed to rain all week so they can wait till the next good weather.

Was going to do a center console swap today, but it’s currently snowing, will do on Thursday on next day off. Had to buy some sockets and a drive wrench to take the bolts on the passenger seat off, I could not get it off. Also put new pads and rotors on as well. Back to cleaning the console up!

I'll be just the reverse of you. I detailed the truck inside and out this weekend, and will do the manifold bolts next weekend. I'm waiting for the gaskets to arrive.
