Was scrambling to put blankets & truck cover on before yet another $)#%$ possible hail storm last night. In my rush I slammed my right thumb in a rear door up to the first knuckle. What made me laugh after was I had to reach over my right arm with my left to get the door handle open! What I don't know is how I didnt manage to do more than discolour my nail and leave a slight pain. I know the door was solidly shut cause my first reaction was to try to just pull my thumb out and that didn't work!!!

Disassembled and greased the rear disk brakes. Brake groan is reduced significantly when braking in reverse. The pads just didn't want to slide on the caliper brackets until I cleaned and greased the contact surfaces.

Flushed brake lines. Fluid came out resembling US Navy coffee more than brake fluid. It was nasty. First time I can remember ever using an 11mm wrench on anything, ever! (Brake bleed screws)

Just installed a plug & play remote start. Works great and was super easy to install. Now it’s on to choosing between the pricey pedal commander and a cheaper alternative.
I went with this one: https://www.americantrucks.com/sec10-ram1500-throttle-controller-r110220.html
Works exactly like the wired in PC (or at least how it is described around here). Been happy with it so far about 3 months in. It did throw a CEL a couple times when I first got it, but it's been good for probably 2 months now.

It was on sale for around $79 when I ordered, so I was able to get this and a hellwig for about the same price as a PC.

Adjusted my headlights tonight. After replacing the H13 bulbs with LEDs I had one pointed at the trees and another blinding oncoming traffic. Now they are perfect!

Finally went ahead and ordered me the Hellwig 7709 rear sway bar and the MaxTrac 2.5in leveling kit for my truck. Should have everything by the 14th of this month! I've been thinking about painting the new sway bar red, has anyone attempted that and had good success with it?

Cleaned out the interior a bit. I need to apologize to the "Stealership", I accused them of stealing my OBDLink dongle :emotions34:. This whole time it was sitting in the center console in the little cubby at the back. I went crazy looking for this thing for 2 months and checked that area multiple times, it just blends in to good.

I got tired of using the adapter for the hitch and swapping between the Harbor Freight (2") and the 2 5/8" ball on the hell heavy hitch that was part of a WDH. Anderson 12,500# rated. I have to get a good pin lock this sucker was $300.

Yep, if you follow what I did exactly you'll have a fully functional badass fourth brake light....
I show it on the video but just remember that white and purple wire is not part of the trailer hitch harness it is looped on the driver's side of the spare tire.
Good luck brother put a picture up when it's done!

Got a .50 cal extendable antenna from VMS Racing installed... for more HP. lol The reception isn't as good as the longer stock ones, but it's manageable. I really only listen to talk radio in the mornings and the 3 stations I listen to come through well enough. I'll probably take that chrome bezel ring off and give it few coats of black though. That'll be the 2nd to last piece of chrome to go on the exterior. The tips will be the last to go.

You can get a lock that is keyed for your Truck. Works well.
