Better late (125k mikes) than never but finally changed the gear dope in the axles. To my surprise the factory fill didn’t look bad. It was a little dirty but it looked really good having never been changed.

FYI, bought the additive “just in case” but haven’t added a drop. I’ve put about 100 miles on the truck already and no chatter from the rear..........of course, heaven forbid the factory LSD gives up the ghost I’ll really be sad to have to replace it with a Trutrac.

Oil and filter PUP 5w20 K&N oil filter @ 48% life left (5k+/-).
Rotated the tires. My inexpensive Harbor Freight torque wrench died, lol.
Cleaned and dressed the K&N air filter.
General maintenance, life of a vehicle.

The last snow storm dumped 31" and kept us out in "the country" for 5 days because of road closures. During that we had a 31hr power outage. Luckily we had a lil HF gen to run a portable oil-filled radiator and when the wife wanted her coffee, would have to alternate between the 2. Of course everyone was out of gens when Cheyenne opened back up and not expected to get anything for about a month. Just found the HF 9000w gen 70 miles away in CO. ROADTRIP!

Been looking at it for a while, but I remember when 2 young stockers loaded it up that it was 200#. Now how would this old fart get it out of the back of a 2500 without dropping it?

HF $99 overhead hoist to the rescue. Opened it up hoping to get a test run. NO FRIGGIN OIL! Now I have to get some. :893Chainsaw-Smilie-

Do you have LP or nat.gas? I’ve installed dozens of them in every size.If things settle down I would consider a stand alone.31 hrs would be enough to convince me.

Hit my new Nfab Growlers on a rock today in the woods and put a dent in them :) Wife cussed a bit until I said, "sliders won't dent". That went over like a fart in church! Came home and installed wind deflectors on the doors of my truck and her jeep.

Probably another trip to the glass shop for me...Must of been 100 yards from any other vehicle right before a nice sized rock hit the windshield. So damn loud thought a 40cal round hit it. Already replaced one last year so hopefully just some resin treatment before it spreads. Man, either these windshields are the softest of all time or Colorado just ain’t the place for me haha.

I usually wait for the 2nd or 3rd bad chip.Unless it's really directly in my line of sight before I'll replace glass.Too many road hazards flying into glass and paint for me to try to stay ahead of it.That and the "depreciating asset "thing.I've replaced glass 2 weeks apart before but now only imo if I have too.(and I'm cheap)

Yeah we just can’t win haha. It’s basically just a waiting game now to see if this thing spreads. Right when I cleaned her too!

Finally got some extra $$$ together to have the Rhino Liner sprayed in. Truck has been on the road for 7.5 years and the bed was looking a bit worn.

Tomorrow I’ll put the fifth wheel hitch rails back in.

3 weeks after the Snowapocalypse, the truck was covered with a full coat of mud. I had developed a slight vibration thinking that the mud had caked onto the wheel. TOday I looked and seen that one of the wheels threw a weight. Soo finally had to give the truck a hose down and take it in.
