Just installed a step that's advertised for 2500/3500 Ram 2019+ on my 2018. The ones sold for 2018 specifically are huge, ugly, & expensive. Being the HDs didn't really change in 2019 it bolted right on and looks great. Got it on Amazon for $104. I did a post about it in the HD 4th gen section.

Take note, I don't know if the mount is the same on your 1500 as my 3500 so make sure you do the research and get the correct one. But so far I wish I did it years ago.

Rotated the tires and changed the oil and filter.

The oil filter location is ridiculous. Dumps oil all over the front end components and a plug that leads to the front end. I assume it's for the auto 4WD . Not sure.

Anyway, gonna start researching filter re-location kits.

Check this thread out, Chopperman recently posted a lot of info on a nice kit he just installed.

As a fellow PacBrake user, I highly recommend their kit! No more messes!

Mine has been well used and abused the last few weeks. Hauling all my junk to my new house. Had the truck out on the shooting range while mowing and had to appreciate it's beauty. Hit 111,111k miles last weekend on the way to a trials event. Still shines up nice every once in a while.

Tested my work after removing the shutters, modifying the shutter switch and adding the Vararam CAI system (and reforming the air inlet dam with a heat gun to give radiator more clearance) a couple of weeks ago, finally towed my 22.5' Sea Ray (fairly heavy due the 454 Magnum engine in it) boat to the water and trans temp never got over 170 degrees when the OAT was at 90 deg. Very happy on that one.

On to the caulk04 trans stat bypass kit I purchased and see how that effects everything.

Upgraded my taillights to LED and proceeded to break off the one remaining clip on the driver's side. Found some replacement clips on Amazon and all back together now with two clips instead of one.

Bulbs or new housings? Keep having issues with system not realizing bulbs are LED even with AlfaOBD changes to BCM. Brake lights and park lights are only two warnings I get.

Did the same using the Amazon clips 15 of em for under 10 bux is a bargain. Broken ones on the 2 lower corners are a b****h to get off.

Just bulbs. I haven't seen a warning light yet.

Mine just busted and fell completly out. Got lucky then :) My PITA earlier in the week was changing out my dash speakers. First one I accidentally dropped into the dash cause the wires are so dang short. Had to fish that out since I could not get my big hands in there lol.

Installed pro suspension rear lowering coils. Don’t know if it’s a placebo effect but seems to handle and launch better. Says it lowers 2”. In my excitement to install them forgot to measure before. Left pic before.
turned out nice!!!..............really good looking truck

Got them from a guy called RPM 956. I actually found him on a highlander forum (2002 is my daily driver) claiming he has the best LEDs. I didn't beleive him at first but figured it was worth a try. I was suprised with how much better they were than other amazon LEDs I've tried. So recently hit him up to get bulbs for my 2012 Ram (Headlights, fogs, switchback front turns, tail lights, license plate and dome lights). He also has a 2 year warranty. [email protected]

He did tell me I might need resistors for the tails, and bought a harness, but so far I haven't needed them. I think the canbus in your 2013 is different than my 2012 though so you might not have the same results.

More than likely, thank you. Brightness of the bulbs isn’t an issue, just the warnings. I run them in all my vehicles but the Ram is the picky one of the bunch. I’ll check it out.

All I did was pull the stupid engine cover off and check the intake manifold bolts and rattled the PCV valve. Truck is approaching 90K. 5 minute job.

Put it back together. 15 minute job. Stupid engine cover. :) Although I finally learned that I could stick my hand under the cover and line up the rear pins somewhat before pushing the cover into place. That helped.

Installed Lubegard Kool it in the coolant this morning. Base temps were 210* at 108*. My 30 minute city drive and 40 minutes of idling while I loaded and unloaded a sleigh for my wifes event at 92* the truck never got hotter then 197*. Ill get to do some further testing later on when its over 100* I have to go pick up the sleigh again and take it back to storage.

Drivers headlight out again.
New issue. Dash nav. has the black screen of death. Radio, clock, nav. nothing. My 2018 Jeep p.o.s. does the same thing.
