A 2009 Ram 1500 and a 1998 Tacoma before that.
For all the love Toyota gets for reliability I didn't see it. My poor taco turned into a money pit at 115,000 miles. Horn went out first which was unbelievably expensive to fix, then in no particular order alternator, transmission sensor, master break cylinder, fuel pump, transmission twice, a lifter rod in the engine, transfer case, door handle, front blinkers, wiper pump, shocks, air conditioner, and several front end components.
My 2009 Ram had a much tougher life than the Tacoma yet gave me 225,000 trouble free miles before I had to put a dime in it. The fan clutch, water pump, and air conditioner went out around the 250/260 mark. It was a great truck. I no longer catch **** from my Ford buddies because of it. 3 of whom turned tail on ford because their Ecoboost engines needed replacing after 150,000 miles. They also had many electrical problems that were very expensive to fix.
