On my '14 Laramie only the seat cooling comes on by temperature, and only on Low. The passenger seat will come on at High, which is bizarre because it will do this even if no one is sitting in it.

None of the heated options comes on automatically, not seat, not steering wheel. Which is fine, I'm OK doing my self, I just don't get why the driver's side will come on by itself and only on Low. Weird. Looks like they got it figured out by 2016.

My '21 the driver comes on low and the passenger doesn't come on at all. I wonder why they keep changing it.

I agree with @Grams , it would be nice if the settings were "sticky" through power cycles.

I wish my bed was 20 inches longer (something I could have, and would have, had if I bought it new. But you can't always check every box when buying used.)

Honestly, other than the wear and tear that comes with a hard working 12 year old truck, I have nothing to complain about. It's been a great truck.

I don't understand, or this is just a difference between vehicles.
I can push the volume knob to turn off the radio, and I have a button
to turn off the screen so it goes black.

2014 Laramie.

EVIC says the radio is 'muted', not 'off'. The difference being, if it is 'off' it will not turn on automagically when you next start the truck. On this truck it does.

We had never seen that before on a vehicle, and still have not.

OK, now I understand. Although I'll have to check if mine behaves the same way, I thought it went muted and remained muted at next restart, but I'm guessing. I'll double-check a little later.

Even so I'll file this under "that's weird" but not something I don't like.

ETA (Edited To Add): I was today-years-old when I learned the truck I've been driving for 9 years has a radio that doesn't turn off!

I’m not talking about anything that’s broken or malfunctioning—just something about the design, layout, or features that you’re not a fan of. Maybe it’s something you wish Ram had done differently, or a feature you feel is missing.
Maybe you wish the center console was laid out differently, or that there was a proper spot for your phone, or a proper shifter instead of the knob turny thingy....

for me im going to say a couple minor things: wish the steering wheel had some radio controls like skip song and volume. another is the little chrome piece on the center console, i wish it was black instead of chrome. the sun sometimes hits it and blinds me...
So far, I'm really happy with our RAM. If I could change anything, it would be the following:
1. Passive entry, we wanted a cloth front bench seat for our river trips. Unless special order, we couldn't get passive entry with that combination at the time or there were none in stock in the entire country.
2. Rear tailgate seems rather light, in comparison to the silverado tailgate we had.
3. Finally, gear shift vs knob is tough to get use to.

The cost keeps increasing. After all those price increases, it still doesn't drive itself, I can't have a conversation with it, especially when I'm feeling down and need someone to talk to, it doesn't hover off the ground (latest new tire bill was $2800 for new shoes, that's ridiculous), and it doesn't have an ejectable coffee mug holder, like the one they used to put into desktop computers, where you pressed the eject button and the coffee mug holder came out. We're apparently flying helicopters with energy solutions??? on Mars and I get a century old engine concept with electronics slapped in it that fail left and right . With all that said, not a bad truck at all and the HEMI rumble is fun. I'll manage and I haven't found a truck YET with all the aforementioned capabilities. I'll say, they are slightly stepping closer to looking like the rest the crowd aesthetically. Please don't go there Stellantis. It's one of a few things that separated you from the crowd. :D

My '18 Caddy CT6 Platinum did the same thing. Fully turning off isn't possible because so much crap for the vehicle controls the vehicle and runs thru it.

Little annoyances on a $100k 4 door sedan car are a big deal. On a $20k truck, not so much.

HAHA, now that's funny. I remember when I got my second older ram it had gear shift. Took months for muscle memory to kick in before I stopped reaching for a knob or a shifter that wasn't there as I switched between trucks. :D

An unlocked ECU from the factory. Places I have checked on in Houston want $500 just for an unlock. Would love to put long tubes on it but if you do it has to be unlocked and tuned to get the most out of them. So, I run the AFE shortys and no CEL. Other then that I have really enjoyed my first Ram.
