Not sure what else to try, I am not a mechanic by any means but have a tried a few things before coming here.
About a month ago my 2010 dodge ram 1500 hemi 5.7 hvac unit stopped working. The fan speed works perfectly. all of the lights on all 3 knobs work, but the temp and fan mode are not operational. I tried changing actuators, that didn't fix it. I tried a new control module that didn't fix it. I unplugged the battery for 10 minutes, nothing. I made sure to recalibrate holding the recirculation knob for 10 seconds than 3 until it starts flashing nothing.
I did notice that I am able to control one actuator while it was hanging free, I believe it was the far left one, the other two, nothing. When I turn the truck on, all of the actuators do their startup and turn all the way right, but I can't get them to move after that.
is this a wiring issue? or maybe someone has another trick I can try or maybe something that I missed?
