What exhaust for the dual exhaust 2014 ram 1500 crew cab has the most growl? I'm talking growl that when it's idling the neighbors get pissed, and when the throttle is pressed it would blow everyone away... What's the best exhaust

I have the borla cat back not what your looking for way to quite to **** of neighbours but I like it. However my buddy has a 14 longhorn and he had them cut factory muffler out and replace with strait piece of pipe and y and leave his resonators intact. That may be more what your looking for. Growls at idle and howl when he gets on it. With the resonators left on it sounds half clean too.

Muffler delete option. It sounds nasty!

I ran the mufflex delete kit for about a week. Wife made me take it off since I was waking the kids up in the morning on my way to work. I miss it.

You can go custom and use the SLP Loudmouth 1 bullet style muffler. It's actually a resonator not a muffler and is very loud on stock ls1 engines. I ran the Loudmouth 2 on my Camaro which is the muffler version and that was loud. Especially with longtubes.

The stainless Works "S Type" dual chambered cat back will rattle your old next door neighbors spoon collection at idle.

It's deep. Old muscle car big block deep. You know it's there even if you don't see it.

When you get on it.... no farty popping and no rasp.

Next to zero drone as well.

Interesting to see how one of those would compare to single chamber flowmaster 10 or muffler delete.

Looks just like a typical magnaflow with a s shape pipe and big ass case?

Cut out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What he said.

I have long tubes 3inch system with a cut out before the muffler. Damn thing roars like a monster truck. Or I can switch it to my muffler and its a little calmer but not much. I also have a flow master 40. Most the time I have my cut outn open.

You might want to invest in a fenced yard and guard dog if you're going to become 'that guy.'

I live in a Townhouse. Had a next door neighbor with a Pontiac POS, G-6 or GTO who did that. 0530 every morning he set off the car alarm of the guy on the other side of him. Always backed into his spot @$$-end facing the front of everyone's houses. He'd go out and come home at 0200 on weekends rattling every window in the subdividsion.

His car took a beating--one neighbor (a cop from the same county, different district) even arranged for his buddy from the right district to be waiting for him at the exit from the community a couple of mornings and nailed him more than once for noise violations

We had a party the day after he moved....if you catch my drift. :jnono:

Why don't you just install a cut-out and play loud when its appropriate and have a respectable, civilized dual exhaust rumble the rest of the time.

that's what I do. I have a QTP dump before cats, after shorties. I keep my exhaust closed driving around my neighborhood/school. but occasionally I open her up and she screams. set off multiple car alarms lol

Dodge Ram Headers and Exhaust - Before and After - YouTube

There's 2 chambered mufflers under there, not one.

The video I posted the link to is pretty close. It's deeper than what you hear on Youtube.

I know that sound is subjective, and I bought these with out hearing them in person. I've heard pretty much everything else but these. I was totally blown away.

I'm not one to follow the crowd and prefer mine to be somewhat different than every second Ram on the street with exhaust work. It stands out very nicely above everything else I've heard in person. This is not only my opinion but others as well that have upgraded. They wish they knew about these before they jumped on whatever the muffler shop was pushing.

With my other mods combined with this cat back, it is IMO the best sounding cat back out there for a 5.7 Hemi Ram. There's no draw back throughout the entire power curve accelerating or de-accelerating. The more miles it gets, the better it sounds.
