Hello I'm new to the forum. I know this question has been asked before but I'm having trouble finding out what is the largest size I can fit on the 18" wheel without rubbing. I would also like to stay with an E load rating, who makes a good AT or mud tire? Or will I have to settle for a lower rated tire? Thank you in advance.

You can put a 70" tire if wanted, as long as the tire was made for a 18" wheel.
Need a little more info on your ride.

It's a stock 2014 2500 crew cab 4x4 with the stock 18" wheels.

Pretty much a 35. 295 70 18 or 305 70 18 would be a good size. Can easily find them in an e rated size. You looking more for an at or mt?

If you level you can technically get 37's under it. I know 35's fit without any issues though.

I'm not sure yet. I think I'm leaning AT but do you have any recommendations in both?

General grabber at2, Bf Goodrich k02, both have 3 ply sidewalls which gives stability for towing. For mud tires I'm not sure what tires out there are load range e, mine are different and as far as I know most are in the 35 range.

I'd go to eBay and search those sizes and see what tread patterns/brands you like then ask for opinions on them. Lots of different tread patterns available and prices also vary greatly.

Thank you all for the input. I ended up ordering the Toyo AT2 in 285/75/18
