Well this morning I found out I need new front brake pads after about 30,800 miles so I'm probably gonna go aftermarket. Looking at hawks lts or super duty or ebc yellow stuff or green stuff. Most likely leave the stock rotors for now

Anybody used any of those? What were your impressions?

I have been thinking about this lately too. Mine have always squealed when dusty and after it rains. I have the same mileage on mine too so I'm wondering how much life I have left on the pads after reading your post. I wonder if a Hawk pad would be as noisy so I will be monitoring this thread.

Moe's Performance has the EBC Greenstuff pads. I've been looking at them as replacements when I have to change mine.

I had the Hawk LTS pads on my 02 and they were great. They were silent and almost no dust. Had them on for about 45k before I traded the truck in and they had plenty of life left on them.

I might go with them again but, I am curious to try the EBC Greenstuffs when it comes time to replace mine again.

I had EBC green's on my SRT10, I swapped over at about 5000 miles of washing rims ever second or third day of driving. Worked great and reduced brake dust a ton

I've heard bad things about EBC car/truck pads but had great luck with them on my bikes. I use Hawk and I LOVE them. I have the HPS on my G8. Mild dust, but amazing bite.

EBC or Hawk, but if it were me, maybe even reconsider OEM's again.
