04' 4x4 1500 with the keys turned for an 1.75" lift. Will shocks help with the stiffness from the turned keys? Or is a entirely new suspension lift kit my only option for a better ride, similar to the stock ride or maybe a little stiffer?

Thanks

Shocks won't soften your ride, but the truck will ride better with new shocks valved for a firmer suspension.
If you want a softer ride you need to either uncrank them a little bit or get a lift kit.

I put some Rancho RS5000s on the front after cranking mine 2". I was having issues because the stock shocks were bottoming out.

I went with Ranchos because I don't have the money to drop on the Bilsteins. The Ranchos are doing just fine for me. I found them for $48 ea. on Amazon.
