I hope everyone who reads this realizes that whether or not you go .5 or 1.5" will not affect the ability to stuff bigger tires (this info is directly from Thuren).

I actually ended up changing my order from 1.5" to .5" springs. Now i'm just waiting on my King 2.5's to get built.
I need about 1/2 to inch in height to clear the rub

Either of his springs cycle to the factory bumps, so really all they do is change static right height (along with their other perks). If you need clearance, then its time for trimming.

If you've got the money Carli's got their 2.5 pintop system out.
Probably overkill for the guy that doesn't want to go 60 mph on a pole road.

Hey did I need to order two front springs? I'm guessing you get them both or Thuren would have said something. It kind of looks like it just ships as one but maybe it's one kit.

Got my stuff yesterday. Geesh this stuff is beefy. I could do curls with the track bar. Even Thuren's packaging is top notch. I did notice the jam nut appeared to be ground down a bit. This is part of their design if anyone wants to know. I didn't know the answer so I emailed Chris. Also I was a bit confused with regards to the length it needed to be. He said regardless of what coils of theirs you are using, it's preset to the correct length. The included chart confused me a bit so I asked that question. Hope to get this stuff in next week sometime.

not gunna lie the 1/2 inch lift looks impossible to achieve being the springs are basically the same length as the stock ones. haha

The 1 1/2" springs are the same way as they are almost exactly the same length as the stock springs when you lay them out on the ground next to each other. I made that comment back on the first page of this post. The lift comes from the Thuren springs not compressing/sagging as much once you put the weight of the truck on them. The Thuren front coils are actually slightly stiffer than the factory PW coils.....states that right on the Thuren website.

I guess it's too late to add my 2 cents but he it is anyway. I purchased the 1.5 coils and Fox shocks. Very happy with my choice. The truck doesn't look front high in my opinion.

Exactly. Kits like Carli, BDS, etc are all a waste IMO because once you install all the required drop brackets, all the stuff that was really in the way before (radius arms, etc) are just as in the way after the lift. All you’re lifting is the frame and body.

I was worried they sent the wrong coils at first and double-check the p/n and sent them an e-mail.
