Chrome clad wheels are probably the easiest to clean/maintain. Simply clean with car wash soap, and use your favorite sealant or wax to protect. A spray sealant/wax works nice and easy.

Believe it or not, but when most people used to ask me on my other vehicles how I kept my chrome so clean, my answer was windex. Works wonders. Then every few months I use a cleaning product from Killerwaxx. Been using them for years. Best wax/cleaners/car soap I've ever used!

+1 for windex. I use it on all my chrome and on my harley. Use windex with 0000 steel wool to take little deposits off too. 0000 wont scratch the chrome clad.

I agree--a good sealant topped with a good coat of wax. After that I just use window cleaner and they look great.

Any degreaser, windex, 409, and any other general purpose cleaner. White vinegar is always my next step when all purpose cleaner didn't work.

i had issues with windex and having streaks that were hard to get rid of. Fukken wax made cleaning them very easy

Cleaning Chrome Clad Wheels

I used to work for one of the companies that made chrome-clad wheels so I figured I’d offer some facts that may be helpful. We did a lot of research on over-the-counter products for cleaning chrome-clad wheels while I worked there and some of the results were shocking. Just because it says chrome cleaner on the bottle does NOT mean it is good for chrome surfaces. We always recommended plain soap and water for the wheels, and in times of extra heavy road grime some cleaners were ok to use (I don't want to get into a war of what brands are best). We did find that products that contained phosphoric acid and ammonia biflouride raised the potential for damage.
