Wheel air bag year interchange ability

My truck is s 2010 ram 1500, and i bought, and will be installing a 2014 black leather heated steering wheel. My factory airbag cover is tan, so i would like to swap for a black one.
Does anyone know if a 2013+airbag will work in my 2010?

Did you verify the heated wheel would work with you 2010?
I know there are a ton of differences in wiring from 09-12 and the 13+. If they do in fact work I'd be surprised. I know the clock spring is a different part between the years.

No I asked my buddy to install the new wheel...but he hasnt had time yet. Im going to use my alpine radio to control my fog lights, heated wheel, heated mirrors, and heated and cooled seats when i get them. When i put the ram box bed storage containers in, i will also use the radio to control led bed lights.
