Still getting used to driving a truck this big, but I was wondering if the below is normal:

Turning in a parking garage (concrete) or onto a driveway, it feels like the wheel skips a beat and I can feel it in the steering wheel.

Is this normal? No mods done, 1200mi 2019.

Thanks.

Yea, a slight wobble should be expected.

However, it should not be binding up horribly like it would when in 4 wheel drive.

Gotcha. It's definitely not 4wd bad. Just a slight stutter on certain corners, it doesn't jump around or anything. Thanks.

Could be a binding universal in the front axle. I've never felt what you describe in any of my 4x4's when the front end is just freewheeling.

Had a Jeep once with a maladjusted transfer case shifter from the factory. The position indicator showed it was in 2WD, but it wasn't.

It definitely isn't in 4x4. Should this be something I should be concerned about? Researching 'binding' sounds like my issue.

Does it do it on all turns and surfaces or just on a specific type?

My parking garage is super tight so I have to do like triple-k turns to get into a parking spot. It seems to do it there while slowly reversing into a spot. That garage is concrete.

It could be tire hop
Try a double layer of kraft paper under one tire and see how much it moves the paper
Or find a place with nice clean concrete and try it then look for the rubber scuff marks

Likely cause during parking maneuvers would be the angle of the tires in tight turns caused by steering geometry. Stand outside and watch as someone else drives doing the type of maneuvers. The aggressive edge tread makes it feel worse.

My guess would be the same as above.

Another possibility is if you have mud flaps on, the tire can sometimes hit those at full lock - depending on the style.

Without experiencing the condition first hand it's hard to say if it's normal or not. My first comment is that I have never experienced anything like that. However, after reading this last comment it may be from the tires unloading. When jockeying back and forth I would suspect you are doing full lock in one direction, stopping and turning full lock the other direction. When doing that the tires could be flexing and loading up a little and then when the truck moves they release the pressure and hop a little on the concrete.
