Wheel sizes ???

I have an 02 RAM 1500 sport quad cab 4 wheel drive. it has the 20inch wheels. I would like to know if and what size wheels I can fit in a smaller diameter. I was told I could only go down to an 18 inch but then I was told I could drop to a 17 inch. I know the caliper rubbing is the issue, That's why I'm asking before I buy anything. Thank you for your help.

You could get a 17" wheel on the 2002/4.7L Ram. Factory spec was 17 x 7 with a +25.4mm offset.

Thanks Maddog. I am looking for stock Dodge wheels, I like having 2 sets, 1 with all season or what ever for summer, and a set with snow tires for winter, and the 20 inch tires are, well lets just say I don't want to mortgage tires. Thank you for your help.

Stock was 17". Option was 20".
