Picked up a set of 35x12.5x20 Open Country's yesterday and am going to mount them on the stock 20s on my '15 Outdoorsman. Going to order a set of bilsteins and set them at 2.8. Will 1/4" spacers make them fit without rubbing? Anyone running this set up?

I ran 35s with no spacers for about 2 weeks without issue. I only had about a quarter of an inch clearance but it was only temporary till I got my 1.5 spacers. 1/4 spacers would be fine.

If I were you I'd go with 1.5" BORA wheel adaptors. Much safer than those slide on 1/4" spacers plates.

Can you run 1.5" Spacers with 35's and only a level? I have searched and searched and searched and cannot find a solid conclusion to verify this.

Random question... a 1.5" BORA wheel adapter on stock 20x9 wheels would be approximately equal to what offset on a 20x10 wheel? My current wheels are 20x10 with -25mm offset... was thinking of getting another set of tires to run in the winter with my stock black wheels that came with the Black Sport package...

You absolutely can

Not sure but on a 20x9 wheel they're equal to a -12 offset

What's the difference between the 1/4 spacer and the 1.5 adapter?

Sorry for the stupid question, I'm new to all of this.

Any issues with towing with the spacers? I could use some to get a more aggresive stance but afraid of towing with them.

The 1/4 spacer will only bump the tire out 1/4", the 1.5" will bump out the tire 1.5". :waytogo: In addition I believe you can get 1/4" spacer plates that dont provide new studs and are just like a washer between the wheel and hub, but the adapter bolts on to existing lugs, and provides a new set of lugs for tires to bolt onto.

I figured the distance part. I'm not that dumb haha. I was curious on the difference of a spacer vs adapter. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm looking at a 6" Zone lift on my 2014 1500 4X4. According to Zone, using my stock wheels won't work because of the factory offset. They need 5 inches of backspace or a 0mm offset. In order to avoid having to purchase new wheels, is there a big disadvantage to just purchasing some .75 or 1.5 spacers? Has anyone had negative experiences with spacers and suggests just biting the bullet and grabbing new wheels? Thank you!!
