You could always do stick on weights rather than the hammer on style...

When they powder coated my rims they switched out the ones on the lip to stick on ones inside the rims.

I've always hated the hammer on weights. The stick ons are good but I've lost way too many of them in the past lol

I like the stick on weights due to looks but ive been thinking of trying the beads instead. Supposedly they work great for truck tires

Kevin (RamStrat) has them in his 40 inch Pit Bulls...he says that during low speeds, you can hear the beads in the tires.

Yeah, I believe most are non abrasive ceramic...like for my tires on my truck, if I wanted balancing beads, it would be like 5 ounces of beads in each tire...and you can reuse them too.

You could always have them refinished...sometimes it's not as expensive as it sounds...it all depends on how bad it bothers you that they are boogered up.
