I got mine at Napleton’s River Oaks CJDR, in Calumet City, Illinois, my truck came out of Wisconsin some 230 miles away. Stickered for $55k, got it for $48k.
It’s good to have Italian friends that own dealerships.

I bought a 2019 Laramie Dually with the 1000 lbft diesel and nearly every bell and whistle from Dennis Dillon at the end of 2019. I got $12-13K under MSRP. My sales guy picked me up at the airport on his day off (Lenny). Things happened faster than I planned, so I didn't have my own financing lined up. Consequently, I was at the dealer a couple of hours while everything got squared away. I ended up switching my loan a couple weeks later, before my first payment was due, and it was not a big hassle. They have a giant map of the world in their lobby. When you're done with your deal, you put a pin where you live. The thing is covered! They had some sales as far as Singapore. Also, South America, Europe, etc. Most, were close to Idaho, of course, but so many outside of ID. Dave Smith was the other one I tried, but the guy I spoke to kept trying to sell me what they had in stock, and wouldn't quote my build. I don't know why.

Howdy, from the Orland/Tinley area. I got mine at Bettenhausen. Not much of a deal though, since they were right at KBB.

I bought a 2019 year end clearance Ram 3500 last January 31st. I didn't know it at the time but supposedly the last day of every month is the best time to get a good deal if the dealership has not met it's quota for the month.

I bought the same 2019 Laramie Dually with the 1000 lbft diesel as you, but on 1/31/20, about a month later. I also got about $12-13K under MSRP. The dealership here in Phoenix, AZ had several of these trucks in stock, lined up at the front corner of their lot where everyone could see them. What an attraction! After several attempts to get the oil changed on the 1995 Toyota Tacoma I'd been driving for 23 years, I left the Toyota Dealership in disgust and the Ram Duallys were like eye candy to me. After 23 years of driving the same vehicle--that by then felt like a pea shooter--I was confident I deserved this 2019 Laramie. I absolutely love the truck. Long overdue.

Got my best deal (factory order) from Dennis Dillon. One of those San Diego pins on the map is mine. Couldn't get any dealerships near me to negotiate. Was picked up at the airport and after an inspection and paperwork, I was off to swing by my Daughter in Oregon for a few days before I continued down to San Diego. It was a nice road trip, getting acquainted with my new ride

I bought my '19 from Autonation NRH when they first came out. was shopping online and agreed to a price and a trade-in value based on emailing a cpl. pics of my trade. I got 40,080 for my '17 gmc 4x4 ccsb sierra SLT and my ram was 56,776 and I paid 43,381.

My local dealer. Note that we have only one dealer within about 30 miles. But both my last two RAMs I bought for an un-negotiated +$500 over "dealer invoice". I know, they're making money elsewhere. As they should. I don't care. I gots lots of other ways to make it up and it ai't worth the time/effort to make a change.

Good lord! What are they making these things out of - gold?! Or is the dollar worthless now - maybe we should bid in pesos?

I'm from SW Idaho and have dealt with both Dennis Dillon and Peterson's Ram here in the valley... Peterson's has consistently beat Dillon's offers in the past. I got my 18 Powerwagon Mohave Sand edition for $14k off ($64k-$50k) of the sticker price.

C&C Dodge in Marietta, OH.
Most straight forward sale with no arm twisting to buy dealer installed bs purchase I have ever had. And i bought my first new car back in 1977.
In fact I bought it over the phone and internet. Then drove from NJ to OH. Everything was done ahead of time. I just got the key fobs and drove home.

I also bought this sight unseen. first I laid eyes on it was when i pulled in the lot to pick it up.

If you are looking for something on the lot use the dealer search on Ram's web site.
Figure how far you are willing to travel and then punch in random zip codes to pull the dealers. Ram gives a limit of 250 miles on the dealer search but, that is not always a radius. I found that you can punch in a zip code and it might give you dealers 250 mile east and west but not north and south.
Once you find your truck then hit the "View on dealers Website" button and then you can see if the dealer is interested in actually selling the truck because they will have the discounts showing, or they just like to have it show up on their website.

Wow! You guys all gave great info. So it seems that 12-13k under MSRP is relatively common. Now what I do is I call all the dealers and get the best deal I can. Then since I live in Colorado I take that deal to the dealer I like the best and ask them to beat it and if it was out of state I ask them to match it. They will.
It seems to me that invoice is between 5&8k below MSRP.so it seems that we can get at least 3%-5% under invoice and I have confirmed 5% below from 3 dealers including one in Co.
Man this thread was soooo helpful. Thanks everybody!

That is exactly what I learned from a friend who worked for years selling cars. He said how much work do you want to do to get what you want? What’s your time worth.
I think A good deal is when you leave happy. That being said, I’m willing to put some hours in and it makes me happy to pay as little as possible! So for me, no warranty, I’ll get my own financing or dealer financing if it’s stellar and then I like to get under invoice by 3-5% if possible. And I’ll wait and have a lot of patience so I order my vehicles. Doing that is like a gimmy for the dealer. No flooring costs and they sell an extra vehicle and they get some manufacturer rebates on their next allotment. Totally a win win!

I searched the South East and there was only one truck with the options I wanted (and a few I didn't) within 300 miles of my location and just so happened it was the closest dealer to me.....

There apparently is a shortage of used trucks in the southeast...they were advertising at the time that if you had a used trade of 6 years or less with less than 90 thousand miles they'd give a huge discount....along with other discounts offered at the time I was a little below invoice....

Couldn't be happier.....Autonation North, Columbus, Georgia......

Cool thing was the receptionist at the dealer was prior service and one of my Soldiers when I was stationed in El Paso, TX......she recognized me when I walked in the door.....Great Experience....!

I goto Bettenhausen for service, I live in Oak Lawn and its a hassle going to Cal City for service, plus I don’t really car for their service department.
