Hi everyone. I am a first time truck owner and looking for a little advice. Got myself an 03 quad cab 4wd and trying to figure out the first thing to do with it. After reading many many posts there is a lot more to lifting than initially thought. Basically looking for any friendly advice i can get before i made any stupid decisions. Im looking for a little bit more clearance and who wouldnt want to put some bigger tires. As far as i know the truck is stock (ill know more here in a few days.) Just wondering on rake and leveling as well as body vs. suspension.

Ill definitely post a picture here in a day or so. Any advice is welcome. Thanks for looking.

Body lift will give you the clearance for bigger tires and still give you the stock ride quality and price is reasonable. Some say a leveling kit stiffens the ride I've never noticed a dramatic change in ride quality and will be your cheapest out of the 3. Suspension will obviously be the most expensive but will give you great a ride clearance for bigger tires and more ground clearance. Suspension lifts will also cost the most to install. Body Lifts and leveling kits can be installed in a couple of hours with basic hand tools. You will need a c clamp for the leveling kit. Suspension will take a weekend depending on how mechanically inclined you are. Hope this helps you out.

Pretty sure thats Not Available in the 03 4x4 as I been looking at options for a few years now and quit cause I am as High as I wanna go but you could do a 3" BL but I am not a Fan of it. There are 2 or 3 Kits available for the 03 and price from 11 to 1600 bucks approximately (4/5 or 6"). BTW 33's will fit with a 2" level and stock rims which was my first set-up.

Hey thanks for everyone's input. Like you said i am finding it hard to find suspension lifts, only a few are made for the 03. Money kind of being an issue in regard to that. Not really sure i wanted to go as high as 5 inches. was kinda hoping for 3ish.
