From what I understand, it is a vibration caused by the altered cv joint angles...doesn't seem to affect all trucks and is usually only present in 4wd...I, myslef, have chosen to go with the bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable shocks to level...this seems to be the best route to go for a leveling kit.

The Bilsteins can be found for ~$80 each online, just shocks.
I'm going to put HBS spacers on my 13 soon.

My dad has a 2" HBS on his 11 and my sisters boyfriend has a 2.5" (can't remember the brand) on his 13. Both with with no problems in 4x4 or any other time.

Just an update. I installed my 2.5" HBS kit a little while back and have had no problems with vibrations or anything (as I suspected).
Great kit, easy install (remove brake caliper from rotor), and makes the truck look like a 4x4 should.

I see you're in TX. Have you driven around in 4WD with it yet?

I have not. If I remember I have to do some running around and I'll put it in 4hi for a little bit. It will only be city streets though.

Got it up to 50in 4-hi on a rough paved road.
Absolutely no adverse effects.

Rides perfect.
