This thread is a place to collect a list of 8.4" UConnect radios with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto which are confirm to work with 4th Gen Rams. For example, I've read that some non-Ram units (i.e., Jeep) work and will change the startup logo once it detects that it's in a Ram. However, some other units may look similar, but have different mounting hardware and won't line up with the mounting holes in a Ram.

Please only add confirmed working units compatible with 4th Gen Rams (as in, you've installed them yourself).

Here's a list I've collected from threads here of some Ram and non-Ram units. If you have more, please add them. Thanks in advance.

ps- if there are any in this list which you know won't work, please update.

68403065AE(UAV)(4c Nav) is not a direct fit(requires building a mount) but it has worked flawlessly in my 2016 1500 Laramie.

I wish I had pictures of my actual install, but I'll explain what I did. I used 1/8" ABS Plastic and epoxy to extend the top left and right tabs of the screen(circled red in the attached picture), I then cut a slot into the bottom tabs(circled in black). I then was able to use the factory screws(circled in yellow) to attach the screen to the back of the Dash. The radio module is Zip Tied in the back of the dash. You'll also need the HVAC control splitter cable, and alfaobd to enable the separate screen(you may also need a longer lvds cable 68082364AC).
