I'm in the middle of getting my transmission repaired and wondered if anybody has experience on how long the process should take. Took my truck into the dealer friday morning and they faulted it and pulled it out to ship to a specialist the same day because it's a "non-serviceable" transmission. The specialist looked at it today and determined it needed a new valve body. Now the dealer has to take the specialist report as well as maintenance records and send a request from fca to authorize the repair. If they get authorization parts are 2-3 days away if it's repaired not sure how long if the whole unit is replaced and they say they can have it back on the road the day after the parts come in assuming it fixes the problem. Seems like the dealer and specialist are working pretty fast, but how long does fca usually take to make a decision?
