Hey guys, i just emptied the Catch Can tor the first time this morning. After about 3500 miles the sucker was 2/3 full!! I am a believer. Thank you everyone for the awesome tips and thank you Matt at Moe's for the excellent service. If you don't have one yet.....get one now!!

Is anyone dumping this oil back into the crankcase? Why not? Royal purple is expensive.

No you don't want to dump it back. It contains water from condensation in the can, the condensation is even worse in the winter, you can tell by the chocolate milk colored oil in the can.

These catch cans are amazing. Well worth the investment.

And Tyler is right. You don't want to pour that back into the motor. Even if you fill the can in 500 miles, that is only about half quart of oil, so its not like your motor will run dry. I have emptied these cans before and the oil looked like straight chocolate milk because there was so much water mixed with the oil in the can.

It's not gonna do anything for you, the previous generation Hemi had an internal PCV. People trying to sell you one should know this.

On my 13 about 6 to 8 ounces in it after 3000ish miles (5000km). Very glad I did this mod, would not have wanted that in my intake. Based on that, you make the call if you think it's needed, I think it's mandatory now and I'm stock.

Oh ya, I have the moroso with a lower drain tube that I received fron Bully / Andrew above. Fast shipping too!
