First time truck owner, first time Dodge owner.

I'm historically a German smaller car guy - BMW 330/335s, Audi S4, etc. So I really thought transitioning to a larger truck would be a tough one. But so far, I've been really pleased.

I think that if I were faced with this before the newer generation of trucks, I'd have a harder problem with it - but since about 08, truck interiors have really been catching up.

The space and utility of a truck are things you just don't appreciate until you have one.

I do think that one day I'll pick up a fun fast car as a side hustle. But for now, given that I went from a $45,000 car (used) vs a $14,500 truck (used), I'm really really happy.

My first truck, and my first FCA product. I used to drive Japanese and German, but so far I've been happy with the truck!

Yup, and first truck as well. I moved a year ago from the burbs to a property with land and wanted something closer to a "work" truck than a luxury or sport truck because all the rough stuff I do around the property meant no fancy interiors or things that can malfunction over the years and able to withstand some abuse and I managed to find a great deal on a used low mileage 1500 SLT 6.4 bed fit all my criteria of minimal gadgets without being too basic like a glove. Everything about this truck is rock solid and low maintenance so far. I refuse to touch anything made by GM, and prefer the Hemi engine to Ford's 5 liter

I just bought mine. Was leasing a 14 express crew cab and planned on buying it out but some guy in an f350 ran a stop sign and I broadsided him with 2000 miles on it. It actually worked out well bc I like my 13 Laramie much better.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Me, dad had an old 30-40? Dodge of some sort. I'll clarify. It was cool just a farm truck.

First truck was a '79 Silverado followed by a '89 F-250 followed by a '94 Toyota.
Chevy went to scrap sadly in 2011. Dad drove it since 1978 when he bought it new.

Ford blew up lmao

Sold the Toyota to a guy in Detroit. Loved that little truck.

Love my Ram though.

I am a new Ram owner myself, always drove fords.

First truck was a 97 f150 4x4. Next truck was a 2004 f150, wrecked thay and bought a 2004 powerstroke. That rotted away into the ground thanks to NY winters. Bought a 12 jeep patriot
Really liked the car but damn was it slow. Traded that in, and bought a 2016 lonestar edition 5.7 4x4. Love the truck.

Here as well. Owned 3 wranglers, a Silverado, a challenger, and a dart (when they first came out). While I do miss the jeep lifestyle a lot and they will always be my number 1, the ram is a super close 2nd and I love it.

Truck 6-17 018.jpgI was when I bought mine in 2013.
Only reason I went with a Ram was Chevy or Toyota didn't want to deal.
NOW that I have owned a Ram for a few years, I don't know what I ever saw in Chevy or Toyotas
LOVE my Ram, even with the few problems I had.
not sure if I want tto trade in on a new one next year or keep this one.
It only has 40,500 miles on it right now

I am. I had a used 2003 F150 2 wheel drive before this, I owned it but was putting too much money into it. I will say that even though it was 2 wheel drive it got better traction on wet surface than my Ram 4 wheel drive.
