So recently I had an O2 sensor go out and right when the sensor quit I started hearing a squeak that sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the truck, it only happens when I first press the gas pedal and when I let off the gas pedal it also happens when I shut off the truck.

My truck was burning oil for a while could it be a clogged cat?

Any ideas on what it could be?

My first thought is something rubbing up against the exhaust. An O2 sensor going out won't cause a squeak unless there is something rubbing, like I said. The only other thing I can think of would just be a coincidence.

I have looked all around the exhaust and even fastened down the heat shields hoping that would fix it but the squeak is still there

The squeak almost sounds electronic

Does it happen all the time or only when turning or whatever?

Haha ya kinda

It happens any time whenever I hit the gas pedal or let off, it also does it when I turn the truck off
