I understand larger tires may put more stress on my truck. But what I don't know, are there any pros or cons or just comments about simply going wider? (I have the K02's if that matters)

Pros:They look good, more tread to grip.
Cons:Without flares you can hear your truck's sides being turned into a delorean on gravel roads. Burnouts are more expensive :burnout:

Fuel mileage hit.

Heavier unsprung weight, may bog the truck down a bit.

More stress on steering gear, steering box, steering bushings and endlinks.

well the stress wont matter much , as the truck is built to handle that type of thing but here is the deal , you gotta kick back a bit after getting those as in no more burn outs no more playing rough on the car .

pros: you got better grip , better off road overall drive experiment , better looks .

cons : stress , lower gas mileage , less playing around , road noise (depending on the brand you get) .

those are what i can think about , them are not deal breakers so if want it i guss its not that bad

i got mine :p

and just remember wider = less chance of making it through a "sippy hole"

I'm about 95% asphalt and a very slim 5% (maybe) off road. I would be using stock wheels and only going a little wider for pure looks, but I wouldn't want to do it with the chance of looking like a Delorean down the road. Also, I have no fender flares, pure stock.

What size difference we talking? Stock wheels means no change to how it sits on the bearings, little bigger is as mentioned, little bit more weight which will effect throttle response if noticeable, but also will effect braking more.

Also another thing to look at is the revolutions per mile in comparison to your stockers, in-town milage will go down but constant hwy driving you may see a slight increase if any in mileage.
