Will an 06 bumper fit in my 05 ram 1500?

Need a new bumper (or maybe just a cover??) For a little fender bender from last year. When I look around i see the 2002-2005 bumpers are like 300 - 350$$ meanwhile the 06-08s are half the price.

The 05 has the W shape under the headlight and the 06 is much straighter. Just wondering if it can still fit without much fabrication work.

Not just the headlights, also the bottom of the grille. Either get the right bumper or convert it to the newer style.

I was thinking bout this when I wanted to swap my dash for an 06 dash. So this newer conversion can be done. Would I just need the bumper, hood, and fenders or do I need the doors also?

Hood is the same, don't need doors. Bumper, fenders and headlights. Hit up chrisp2493, he did it to his 03.
