Yes, a 12+8 security bypass cable will work, but it has to be R&R each time you make an adjustment.

More importantly, where is the SGW module located on your truck?

Mine is buried behind the radio; I'm not interested in that grief.

Several gen 5 trucks have the SGW beside/behind the OBD2 port.

The KaodTech Security Gateway bypass harness connects to the CAN bus blocks, beside/behind the OBD2 port and most importantly, install it and forget it.

I installed mine over 2 years ago.

They always show as out of stock as they're made when ordered.

Mine was received PDQ, IIRC.

Have you confirmed the location of the SGW for a '22 2500?

According to this video, it's buried behind the EVIC.

Mine is behind the gauge cluster. After removing half the dash to get to it and use that bypass cable, I bought one of the kaodtech cables to not have to go through that mess again.
