Will not idle

I have a 2001 1500 with 5.2L. Start by will not stay running. Was told it was a vacuum leak, and have not found one. Removed catalytic converter and did not change issue. New plugs wires and cap. Is fuel filrt integrated with fuel pump. Sat for a while and had bad gas in it when purchased?

Been a while since I have messed with a Magnum engine.

But, kind of sounds like an IAC valve. Back of the throttle body. (plunger moves in and out to control idle rpm, lets air bypass the blades in the throttle body.)

Could remove it and try to clean it or swap it.

Welcome to the Ram Forum, fuel filter should be on the undercarriage frame rail, could be starving for fuel, put some Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner for the bad fuel.
