I have a 2011 Ram 1500 Big Horn and I recently had Fox 2.0 Coilovers and performance shocks installed and I was looking to go bigger in tire size but keep my stock rims, before I had the coilovers installed, I had 275/65R20s and now I ordered Cooper STT Pros in a 295/65/R20..will these fit fine or will I have issues?? when I got them delivered yesterday I rolled one next to my front tire and there is a big difference and it looks like the coopers will cover my entire wheel well. I also took a tape measure and measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well and the fronts are 39'' and the rear is 40" idk if that helps, I don't know if I measured correctly but from the bottom to the top of the threads on the coopers I got 35.5 is that right? if I have 39" from ground to the top of the well, that only gives me 4'' in the wheel well...maybe its just me or im in over my head over this but any advice or comments will help

You can't do a fair comparison between a mounted tire with vehicle weight on it vs the unmounted tires. They will compress a bit with the weight of the vehicle and aren't much bigger than the 35"s some guys run with a level. You might need to crank the preload on the Coilovers a little bit for clearance if absolutely needed, but you won't really know for sure until you mount them up and have them under the weight of the truck.

I have the bilstein shocks at 2.1 in the front. I am running a 295x60x20 and they rubbed at full lock. I added 1/4" spacers and it fixed the rubbing. I have all terrain tires. Mud tires may rub worse. If i remember right my front end sets around 39 after the lift. I think i had 275x60x20 at that time so with the bigger tire and shocks settling im not sure what im at now.

Your current tires are 33 and the new ones are 35 so you’ll go up about 1” height and lose 1” fender gap versus your current setup

His should be about the same as yours. I was not saying they’ll fit or not just saying his way of calculating the new height was way off.

Right! I was just wondering if they were both about the same amount of lift. My 295x60x20 AT rubbed at full lock. I think his tires will rub. Specially being more aggressive.

his current tires are more like 34" he said he has 275/65's not 275/60's ;)

if his setup is close to say 2.1 on bilsteins he has a chance of rubbing. To be safe, For that size tire he needs to be more like what 2.8 is on the bilsteins. Since he has coilovers I would assume he has the adjustment to go higher.

Get the tires installled and go from there. I had 315/70/17 with a Rancho quicklift (2” lift front) with no rubbing, though my wheels have a 4.5” backspace and I have the zone ucas pushing a little more + caster than stock.
