Running avs in channel as well but their low profile line it is fairly flush with the body and doesn't stick out like the traditional visors. Avs pn 994004.

I don't have them yet... Santa is bringing them. But they will be the 3m tape on ones, I hate in channel style. Have seen too many issues with them on friends & coworkers vehicles, not to mention the set I tried on my f150. 2 issues were power window catching on it abs would auto back down as a safety feature. Then in the winter, they freeze to my glass abs try to come out when I put the window down at drivethru.... Jamming up.
Sent them back for external kind

If you install them in the winter leave it in a heated shop with the windows closed for a day or 2 and if they’re cleaned properly before installed there will be no issues, I’ve had em on for a couple years now and haven’t had a problem but maybe I got lucky

AVS surface. Took them off after 6mo because they were noisy as hell when down 3/4" for smoking. Then stopped smoking haha. I still have the window down abit out of habit.

I have the putco in channel visors. They are low profile and angular, not rounded like a bubble.

AVS stick ons.Don't like the way the in channel kicks the window over when it's going up.I do get a bit of wind noise though.

I have Goodyear's, which were on sale for half the price of the Vent Shades. Stick-on. They seem fine so far. I haven't noticed any extra wind noise.

I put a set of the tape on type on an 05 and if for some reason you have to take them off, it can be a real pain. My 2011 I installed the in channel type AVS and haven't had any issues at all. If you follow the instructions and use the sandpaper to remove the fuzz from the felt in the channel, you shouldn't have any issues. I like the in channel look a lot better. As someone else said it is a smoother look.
