Wiper Issue

Hi all. I'm new here but I anticipate great experiences just like my Harley forum involvement. Here's my issue- wipers work fine on high and low settings but don't work at all on the intermittent settings. Is there a simple fix here that someone has done? Ive never had this happen on any vehicle I've ever owned so I'm not sure where to start. Thanks in advance! It's a 2012 Sport.

I suspect the contacts in the multi-function stalk may have worn out and there's no signal getting through to power the intermittent steps.
