wire question

So im going to wire up a harness for my new light bar i was in a hurry i got soild 12 gauge wire can i still use this to wire it up or should i buy the wire with the strands?
Im not an electrician so any help would be nice

Unless you plan on going total ghetto with the install and use wire nuts, I would get the stranded wire for automotive use. Stranded makes crimping, splicing and soldering way easier.

Right on thanks gonna go get different wire, i dont wanna go full ghetto just yet !
