Working tow mirror upgrade!

I would like to try and see if the 15's will work. Could you give me a list of what I would need like,mirrors, dr. Mod. And codes etc.

Hey guys I just ordered a pair from A1. Going from the stock power/heated regular mirrors to their power/heated/puddle and turn lights/tow mirrors.

Before they get here I figured id do a little research for the install. I see some saying they plugged them in and everything worked and others saying they had to have truck flashed to work.

Where you guys plugging them in at? I assume inside the door panel somewhere. Any one have instructions on how to get into the door or pictures?

on my truck which is a 2014 1500 i followed my original mirrors cable down after I removed the door panel and in my case had the correct module to make the new mirrors plug and play .the original mirrors had a single connector the oem tow mirrors I bought had two . i did however not have functional lights for signals and puddle lights until i got the correct codes flashed. my module in the door had two spots for connectors 1A Auto had a video on youtube that shows the tow mirror install that helped me a lot. I also looked up how to install speakers in a ram and found out how to remove the door panels also on youtube hope this helped

Sorry Ron just noticed this. I'm not sure of what may or may not need to be modded on the 2016 trucks.

2015 Big Horn Tow Mirror issues

2015 Ram Big Horn - removed factory plain mirrors and installed factory tow mirrors with puddle light flip up ect. and ambient temp sensor. Once I installed received engine light on dash and outside temp read -40 degrees.
Took to dealership $108 to flash code LEC, LED, LEG and everything worked except the ambient temp. Tech came out and said the ECM is trying to pick between two sensors and will not work.
If I bring in the original mirrors they will spend couple hours on trying to figure out what is wrong but no guarantees. This will cost me $300 to try.

I would like to thank you all for your input on this thread. It made my upgrade very easy and fast at the dealer. Thank you Thank you. I can't imagine anyone on this thread would be in need of the standard heated mirrors let me know.

I can live with out the signals or puddle lights if need be, I want my ambient temperature and mirror functions to work more.

My truck had only normal adjustable, heated mirrors. I now have these installed and they are still adjustable from the door controls (they even properly adjust when flipped, I don't have to think about up = right or anything), the temp and heated defrost seem to work fine as well. I am getting the codes flashed tomorrow so that the blinkers and puddle lights work.

The only issue I have is that I wish I had noticed that the bolts are a tad too long so I could have trimmed them before closing my door. See images.
