Want to enable Blind Spot Monitoring on my 2019 Ram Rebel. Need confirmation on steps or requirements. I understand that I need to replace my existing mirrors with those that include BLIS, along with purchasing new taillights that are BLIS compatible, and then adding the BLIS module and heat sink to each. As well as updating AlphaODB (with help of bypass). But do I need to add an additional cable running from taillight to driver side footwell?? This part I’ve read conflicting information on, and I think this step might not be necessary for the Ram Rebel.
IF I add or update
• Driver/Passenger Power Mirrors with Blind Spot Monitoring (BLIS) Triangle
• Rebel Taillights compatible with BLIS
• BLIS Modules and Heat Sink
• AlphaODB/Similar override and software update push to enable BLIS
Do I need an additional harness from the rear taillights to the front driver floor well?
