A much cheaper option is to just plug in a USB adapter directly to the back of the radio and run it somewhere convenient (like the glove box). Should cost about $5...

Long story short, the dealer will be replacing my center console and providing me with a factory USB Hub.

et Todd, new to the forum but we just saw this post from Jan, sorry for reviving an old thread. My son and I just did the console upgrade on his 2009 and we have the console harness that came with the used console. I see you have this picture of the harness coming from the dash. Was this harness part of the factory dash harness or is it an add in harness that I can order to add in. We upgraded his radio to an RHR so I have the USB available on the back of the radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking everywhere for this extra harness to get his media center working.

I will check the 2015 thread, the harness coming from the console is a female that has orange on the tip and is mounted in the front of console already. So I need the male multi-pin that will connect to the console harness and go back up behind the radio. Thanks for the quick response !

jkieffer, it looks like that whole assembly you show in your picture may be what I need. Can you tell me where that assembly connects to in the dash? it looks like it may match the harness we have in the center console.

My post was basically speaking of if a truck came factory with a console.I do not know the ins and outs of a jump seat to console swap

If I remember correctly it runs from the back of the radio and the USB plug on the back of the radio. I have since taken my console harness out and put a different hub harness in place.

Thanks, I appreciate you getting back with me. After this weekend if it I don't figure it out I will let it go. It could be the 2009 is just not capable of a complete factory tie in to the console.

Just looked at it. Mine grabs the harness under the driver's side seat. Which goes under the carpet under the dash.

Thanks,jkieffer. I am connected under the drivers seat. Maybe we have a bad usb hub on my sons truck. I will pull it out and test that. Not sure what that rogue harness is in the console at this point. Maybe it is for additional rear options.
