Looking to do a swap in my truck. Need the motor (duh) and harness, and any other associated, and necessary wiring. I'd love to do a 6.1, but that would be too much to do with the tranny and gears.

Well, I have been looking on ebay at motors, they are running between 3-5 grand, so I guess in that range. Then I also want to do headers, will need a new CAI, might as well do a cam too..plugs and wires, then install it. Eventually might look into a STS rear mount turbo.

umm why not get a superchips and disable it...

They are both correct, I have a 4.7...I am going to be doing a larger lift, and tires, so i need more performance out of the engine. So, might as well just start there!
he has the 4.7

I think he has a 4.7

Call Stu at Inertia Motorsports at 1-512-964-7724 and tell him Kenneth sent ya. He can set you up with something if thats the range you want to be in. If he cant get close enough he might have a hook up for you.

^True... thought has crossed my mind now the I need to put a piston in mine. Book is calling for a retarded amount if time to swap em. Assassin I would look into fordged pistons and rods if your planning on doing foreced induction or spray to be on the safe side.

Should be ok running a rear mount...if it was a supercharger, or spray then I could see it.

What about a supercharger, cam, and headers for the 4.7?

That would make good power and probably be easier to do that a hemi swap.
