Your thoughts on these tires no one seems to have yet

So my General Grabber ATX tires in 33" 275 60 20 (D rated) are getting close to end of life. Naturally now as I go to bed I have visions of tires dancing in my head. I used to have a boat, but i don't any more and i don't tow anything or go off road much at all so I'm contemplating maybe going back to a Highway Tire in a C rating for mostly economical reasons both in purchase and in cost of gas. However, I do have a 2 inch Bilstein 5100 lift so its almost level and I like the thought of a 34" 275 65 20 tire filling that wheel-well a bit more. Now here is where my research has led to a conundrum. For some reason the Nokian One HT really jumps out at me. In a C rated 275 60 20 it is a mere 39.6 pounds. That's great. Most tires of comparable cost and size are 40-45 pounds. But even better is the up-size One HT in 275 65 20 at 45.2 pounds. That's amazing! Every other E rated tire of that size I've seen anywhere are 13-15 pounds heavier. So this is where I want y'all's opinion...Do you think the lighter E rated tire (by 15 pounds as the Grabbers are 60lbs and the Nokians 45lbs combined with he Highway tread pattern as opposed to the All Terrain tread, even though one inch larger, will be a save on gas or a wash or worse? I have no idea. I'm open to getting the 33's which i know would save mpg, but i like the 34's. What say you?

They are 15 pounds lighter than other brands for a reason. I would find out why that is and make sure I am comfortable with it. Maybe the tread depth is a bit shallower, less cords, thinner sidewalls, thinner casing under the tread, etc. Probably a combination of these and other tire construction parameters. If you are comfortable with the trade-offs versus price, go for it.

PS Me personally, I like to buy tires from a company that can spell tires correctly.

Not according to Coopers site. These are 275/55/20 and the specs are different.

How many miles do you have on your ATX?

I have 35x12.5r20E (1500) Grabber ATX going in 45k miles and still going strong. I rotate every 7000 miles and they are wearing beautifully. I plan on getting them again when they wear out.

I have a 2.5” level kit now but I’m awaiting delivery of an AEV 4” lift. Currently I get 18-21 MPG (everything is recalibrated) and I couldn’t be happier.

New Hampshire. Plenty of snow travel. I drive 70 miles round trip every day. Back roads and I live these in the snow. I kinda wish they were a little narrower, 12.5 wide is pretty wide for snow but even still, these area great in the snow and mountain snowflake rated and studdable.

My Grabber ATX have 40 K and still 6/32 left of tread. I know Im thinking ahead a bit. How the heck are you getting such great gas mileage? Wow. I get like 15.

The Grabber ATX in my opinion is the best AT tire out there. Tire Rack seems to think so, too. I live in North Texas and they have never seen snow so i can't help you but i will say that i just drove through a massive thunderstorm and the are amazing on the freeway. And they kick butt on muddy dirt roads.
