Took in my truck today to the dealership because it didnt want to turn on... while i was driving last night i was making a stop at the stop sign and it turned off and didnt want to turn back on so me and my buddys pushed it home so this monring i tried to turn it on it didn't.. when trying to turn it on it sounds like it is turning on but then there is clicking noise the guy from the dealer told me its probably the fuel pump so hopefully thats all thats wrong with it...

Usually if you crank it, and all it does
It click really fast, it's just a dead battery. But idk what type of clicking it was, could've just been a bad alternator and the battery went out.

thats typical though...it doesnt take many amps to run a stock audio system or power windows...engaging the starter and turning the engine over take MUCHO amps

The battery is the heart of these trucks, if it's not up to proper volts and amps under load then she ain't run'in. Can't judge a battery by it's ability to roll up a window or play a song, it must be tested under load.

It sounds like a possible wcm (wireless control module) they are a known to go out for no apparent reason. Does the security light or faulty key light come on when you try to start it?

See if you can't get reimbursed for the rental. No reason why you should have to pay out of your own pocket.

We sometimes wait to the next day to haul too, depends on the time. If it is 6pm, not going on a 3 or 4 hour trip to the dealer when they won't be looking at it for days anyway.

If someone has an appointment in the morning we will just leave extra early and get it there on time.

I don't think putting a bigger fuse in is te right fix for this situation but that's just me

Agree with Stangshcky12. The fuse is the weak link in the circuit. Putting in a higher amperage fuse may cause the circuit to fail somewhere else and could result in a fire.

Agree with others putting in a bigger fuse is ALWAYS a bad idea. You should only use the size it is supposed to have. The point is the fuse blows not the wire or as stated a fire. I can't believe that was their answer sound like dumb dumbs.

With the Equipment you have listed and with your recent roof addition I would be concerned with how everything is wired and where it's wired too

listen to them about the fuse thing they are correct. I would go back and ask why they had to put bigger fuses in. Especially if its the OEM fuse box fuses. That should never be no matter what.

Your truck is now ticking timebomb.
