Good post. Just leveled my truck and was noticing I could see people in there cars very well at night now with my lights shining straight in their eyes.
What is the trick to horizontal adjustment, or is it take the headlight out and try again?

sorry for raising this thread from the dead but what are the normal increments for adjustment? Like 1/4turn or 3 turns at a time? just for general guidance...

Sorry for bumping a old thread. I figure it wont hurt to have this one bumped anyways.

I want to make sure I have this correct. From what I gather I should get my headlights as close to a wall as possible. Mark where my lights are hitting. Backup to the proper distance and adjust my headlights so they are 2" bellow my previous marking.

Is this correct?

Another question. I have no problems adjusting my passenger light but I cannot get my driver's side to go up or down. What do you think the problem is and what should I check?

Thanks for the help.

I just park 25ft from the wall and measure the lights there. But, pulling up to it and backing up works too! :D

On the one that doesnt move.......does that light seem to "bounce" around a bit over bumps?

No bouncing at all when going over bumps. I adjusted it before but now it won't.

Mine bounce, shake, vibe like mad! Can't actually stand it to be honest. What would be the problem there?

So how do you do the horizontal adjustment on projectors?

On the morimoto h1 - you an gently twist the back of the projector.

I was trying to see if the mount had come off of the adjuster. On a stock headlight, if its jumping around - that is the main culprit. On the projector setup, it could be a few things - pretty much all of what we've gone over via email. :hmm:

Ooooollld thread to the top.

Is there any horizontal adjustment for the projectors in a 14'? My lights are so wonky right now that my truck looks cross eyed.

Think I might have been a little too aggressive when I opend them up for the halos.

nope........

But, there is a LOT of play in these lights in how they fit in the fender. When I got super **** retentive on my lights (the night I did the video of mine for my site) - I literally stood in front of them and "aimed" the l/r by loosening the bolts, getting it where I wanted and cranking them down.

Thanks! I was thinking along the same lines earlier. The HID kit I got from you is going in this weekend! I'll tweak them when I re-install.
