I have a 2014

Tired of looking at my projectors and adapters sitting around so now I'm ready to install them. Questions are:

- Is there a video or a write up showing where people are mounting all the resistors and ground?
- The adapter coming off the housing splits in 2 to match up with the 2 coming from the truck, does it matter which goes to which or are they interchangeable?
- How much time should I expect to spend getting these in? I can swap headlights fairly quick, but I think mounting the resistors is going to be my biggest issue.

Thanks for any suggestions

There is somewhere i don't remember where I saw it. If you know how to remove the lights than everything else is really simple.

The short section of the harness goes to the parking lights and the longer one goes to the headlights.

For a ground.

On both sides there is a body panel bolt closet to the headlights. I think it's a 10mm. I didn't need to take any paint off. I did this on my 2010 and now on my 2015.

If you take your time maybe 20-30 minutes.

So you didn't mount the resistors, just left them free?
How hot do they get? Hot enough where you want to make sure they don't touch any other wires?

Ground both resistors on each side together or separate?

I'm not sure how hot they get but to route them to the bolt I'm talking about they shouldn't be close enough to any other wires. And yeah I just let them hang.

They are grounded separate. I'll take a pic this morning of the bolts I used

So I was a little off on my description. Maybe it's just a difference between a gasser and a diesel. Both locations are grounding locations in the engine bay right by the headlights.

100 Miles in and now I get a "Parking Light Out" message

There are no lights out

I'm going to check all the connections later today, but if everything looks good what else could be the problem? Bad resistor?

About to throw in some projectors, any updates on your parking light message?

Do you have the harness with 2 resistors in it or only one? The 2013+ trucks that came with quad headlights need the dual resistor harness to prevent the bulb out message. If you only have the single resistor that's your problem.

not sure how I missed this one.........but lets start with those resistors. Had a weird batch a few months back - so if one isn't working, lets flip the connector and see if that cares for it - if it gives a hyperflash, pop me an email, we'll get it cared for!

Super fast shipping! Now for the install. Should be a breeze compared to my hid quads!
