off road tires are sometimes a little funky, or maybe you got a bad tire, ive had both situations, ive had a bran new set of off road tires that acted a little out of balance untill they kinda wore themselves smooth

Try a "road force" balance. That took care of the problem on my 2014 CC.

Also, what psi are you running in the rear tires? Airing down my 35x12.50's to 50 psi helped a lot with the bouncing inherent in the rear of an empty pickup.

Are you running 20x10 or 20x12 wheels? Btw, aside from the shake, truck looks great!

I'm running 20x10 rims . And thanks! I love the way it looks too just the performance is driving me nuts!!!! Spending a lot of money or wasting money trying to get to the bottom of it!! Someone is telling me to remove these washers that are in between hub and rim that these may cause the issue a0e85a7544a9afbd99eb26437c0dc632.jpg

Please help!!! Fuel brand rims and tires with-18 offset??

Anyone have fuel brand rims and tires with a -18 offset??? Looking to pick some people's brains on their experience specifically with our model truck and these rims and tires . 7b49ec496f2ff8e54cc12a079d660996.jpg
This is the setup I purchased .
20" x10"fuel vapor rims
33"x12" fuel gripper a/t's
-18 offset

Love the look but these are my issues ....

Having issues .. feels like the back of truck is shimmying , or rear end is out or balance ... Had everything your could dream possible done to rims and tires and truck . Truck only has 12k on it 2015 bighorn with ready lift SSt leveling kit . 2.5" front 1.5" rear

Dealer ship road forced tires saw no issues

Realigned truck with rims and tires on

Tried various tire pressures

Rotated tires

Removed lug washer

I spwnt over 300$ getting all this done only to have the same issue continue .

Stock rims and tires put back on and issue is non existent telling me it's the rims and tires . Anyone else have that experience. ????? What are my options ???

I had a similar problem. Took it to a different tire shop to have the tires re balanced. I'm not sure if the first guy was inexperienced but in the end it was an unbalanced tire.

I see Ur post now. I had it to three shops the last being the dealer attached are photos of everything they tried in detail along with my bill . Every player got the tires balanced according to their machine . But the symptoms are still there ! Driving me nuts . Gotta return rims and tires and hopefully get another pair 811723459249e3bcb749054e368fbc40.jpg8a5fd1c526d084f7233cf27a6a8bcd5b.jpg

Does anyone think that the rear springs need to be beefed up? Could that b the issue with heavier tires?? I do carry 1-2 tons of coal in the back of my truck for a few miles once a year or so. Could that really wear them to cause this issue??

Make sure the copper washers are removed from the lugs or the wheel will not sit flush to the hub

Not a suspension guy at all, but could a messed track bar cause issues at higher speeds on a different sized tire? Different stresses than the stock tires right?

Yes made sure they removed those .... I'm thinking there has to be an issue with the tires or rims that the machines aren't picking up

Sorry to hear all the trouble! Definitely got me stumped. The only other suggestion I had was finding a nearby ram owner that wouldn't mind you testing your wheels on their truck. If you lived near Sacramento, I would gladly offer up my ride.

On a side note, I am close on pulling the trigger on a similar setup BUT I plan on getting Nitto G2 in p-metric 305/55/20. Reason being they look reasonably aggressive, have great tread-wear, nearly identical to 33/12.5 size and weigh a lot less. IIRC, the total weight of the wheel and tire would be 97lbs vs stock 84lbs. You're setup is likely over 110lbs. My belief is it would be more fuel efficient and lessen the likelihood of suspension problems or imbalance.

Just food for thought. Got my fingers crossed for ya!
