I've worked there for a little over a year and haven't had a single complaint or warranty return from one of our evaporators or condensers. All of them have been from improper installation.
So you should be good on the part quality. They have a lifetime warranty for a reason lol

I've seen some come from Auto Zone and Advance that wouldn't qualify as cheap knock-offs. The didn't heat or cool as well as an OEM unit and fit so poorly that they rattled in the heater box.

Well since oreily's came to town I won't go anywhere else. The Autozone and Advance here Are the worst. But that's mostly cause the employees left and went to Oreily's. I am sure the fittment will be fine. I already had one but the one I bought was broke when I took it out of the box so I had them order a new one that hopefully isn't broke. We will see how it goes. I'm sure I can get it all buttoned up and put back in by tonight. Only bad thing now is that my slightly cracked dash is now trashed. As soon as I rolled it forward like in the manual the top just spilt in about 3 places. Joy! NOT! So looks like I get one of those *** looking pads.

Hey Tech are you able to order the upper dash for this year of truck??? Or is my only option a dash mat?

Well got the new evap. Looks good so its in along with the hvac box and the lines all hooked back. All that's left is to double check the vac lines before I seal it all up.

I did some checking and it appears that the dash is still available. It may not do any good, but you might consider calling Chrysler customer service and seeing if they would be willing to help you offset the cost.

From what I have heard that sometimes works. Not thrilled about having to replace it but meh. Anyway dash is back in. Gotta button it up tomorrow. Diy in the works.

Busted a freaking U-Joint!!!!!! Really?!?!?! A Freaking U-joint. Ugh but at least I got the dash back in. I will have a writeup in the next week or so to share.

Yup Cause if I didn't I couldn't have gon to my interview today.
Sadly though I refuse to take the car to the fair which starts this week and we have livestock down there. So no pony car at the fair. Truck will get fixed tomorrow. Gonna vac the system and charge it and then press out the old joint and in the new joint. I'll post pics of the joint. It freakin detonated itself.

I had an axle joint do that to me earlier this year. Wasn't fun and ended up needing a new pass side axle but I lucked into a killer deal on a pair of them

Lucky. I got lucky though. Was only a block from the house so I limped back home. Sadly not before it messed up some of the bolts to get the knuckle off. So that was fun. So for now I got the axle shaft out and it's free wheeling. Gonna take it to my buddy's shop tomorrow. Hopefully we can get all this done before the demo derby tomorrow night. Man this has been a jacked up day.
