UPDATE- I'm going to start using this as my build thread, I feel the same passion for modifying things as I did with my first truck so I'll be documenting changes here

After having two 3rd gens and a Jeep I'm finally in a 4th gen and I have to say that this truck is a thing of beauty! It drives like a passenger car on the highway, super comfortable with the full console and 8.4" radio, and the HEMI with 3.92's really gets it. I'm exited to start putting my own touch on it and making it my own. A lot to learn about the 4th gens but I'm no stranger to RAM's and this forum. A bit broke from the down deposit but I'll be scouring that "Best Mods Under $100" thread for the next week.

Did my first mod tonight. Found a BAKFlip cover on FB market place for a steal, 250 cash. It’s a bit older but it’ll work for my needs. Have a tailgate assist and a stubby antenna coming in soon as well. a13eb4426643dd8d83af9c1695cda0f5.jpg

So debating buying the Bilstein 5100’s to level out the truck a bit. As of now it’s sitting around 2.5” lower in the front. I went out and measured and took pictures of current UCA angles and it seems I can get away without replacing them. Sitting level they have around an 8 degree angle each side (measured by iPhone so not super accurate).
Using the floor jack I lifted up the front to about where it would be leveled (39” to fender all around). The angles of the UCA looked about zero but didn’t measure this time. Can anyone confirm this is a good indication of how it would be with the Bilsteins? Or could I be wrong.

Will post photos in a few

Here are the pictures of the UCA angles stock and raised up by about 3" even raised I think they look pretty decent and in a more than neutral position. No crazy angle that might cause a ball joint to fail from what I can see.
First two are stock, Second two are raised.

Congrats! I agree with the passenger car ride experience. I love the Warlock ride and looks and I came from a Honda Ridgeline that was ugly but a smooth driver.

Just bought Bilstiens for the front. Most likely going to be setting to 2.1” for now to play it safe. Installing tomorrow hopefully.
But yeah the rear coils make a huge difference. My 2006 when I hit bumps I could feel the axle bouncing around lol.

Played around with photoshop today because I forgot I had a full version downloaded from the .EDU licensing. Took the leveled look photo and added black wheels (very ****tily may I add). Thinking my next mod will be Plasti-dipping the wheels, I did it on my first 3rd gen taking my time and it lasted about 2.5 years with no issues. Most likely will be de-badging and removing the B-Pillar vynyl as well. Leveled Black Wheels.png

or trade for non clad wheels, like I did on my 2011, and then bought gloss black covers.

Not really big fan of the wheel covers. Seems kinda tacky IMO. I figured out how to get the plastidip to adhere to the wheels by letting the cans sit in the sun for about half an hour to warm up. Clean the wheels very well with soapy water and nothing that will leave a residue. Clean and dry very well then immediately start spraying in thin coats letting dry in between. If I remember correctly the wheels I did before each had a total of 6 coats. I then rolled them into the sun to help "bake" on the coats. I took those wheels through machine car washes and almost never had issues for 2 years.
