generally speaking....

What would I be looking at ($$$$) for regearing an 09' 4x4?

If I'm correct, i do not have the welded in parts in the front diff like the newer rams.

I'm at 3.55 currently-lookin at 4.10.

I would definitely be paying a shop to do this. This is beyond my expertise.

Thanks

3.55’s to 4.10’s is not a very big jump. Really make sure you know what your RPM’s are going to be at a given speed so you know you are getting the results want.

I went from 3.73’s to 4.88’s and run 35” tires and it’s perfect.

Here is a good link to see what you rpms will be at any given speed

3.55's blow, great idea. Use that calculator to see what rpm you are in per gear, u&A just did his, what did you pay Kyle I forget? 2200? Once you see what rpm in gear at mph you can play with it and see with manual shift mode how that feels like before you randomly choose a gear set.

2,300

That was front and rear, kept OEM carriers and got 7 quarts of schaeffers 75W140.

I assume a 1500 will be less as the gears are a bit smaller. I would say around 2,000- 2,200 without changing carriers

Pay attention to break in procedure as well. They don't have the same finish on after market gears as factory, they need to be broken in correctly.

Is your ram a two wheel drive? Im not aware of any front 4:88 gears. Just the rear.

4.10s on stock height tires.

2000 rpm = 71 mph

1600 rpm = 55 mph

I had 3.55s. They were awful. You'll like those 4.10s.
