Anyone running just a leveling kit and 35's on stock wheels? I want to do a budget boost. I don't want or need to spend money on new wheels because I like the 20's on my Sport. I'm thinking Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.50R20LT. I had them on my JK and they're an awesome tire! I use the vehicle for a 100 mile daily commute so boosting her too much just isn't practical. I just want to give her a more aggressive look/stance. Pics would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I've seen this on a few trucks here. With stock OEM wheels you will need a wheel spacer to clear 35's at 12.5" wide. Some people say that it looks "stuffed" with 35's on just a level. Something else to maybe consider if you're worried about the wheels looking to big in the wheel well is going with 34's. I've seen a couple leveled riding on 34's and they looked real nice.

On my 09', I went with a 2.5" leveling kit and 3/4 spacer. I only installed the 2.5" in the front. My tires were Nitto Trail Grapplers M/T 295x65R20 on painted aluminum wheels. They just did rub when fully cocked to the left, not a real issues. 295x65R20, per nitto is 35.47x12.13. Anything wider that this, I believe you need spacers.

Another few options if you wanted a little bigger than 275/65R20...both the below options "should" fit without rubbing on stock 20s.

285/65R20
BFG All-Terrain T/A KO
34.7 x 11.5

285/65R20
Good Year Wrangler MT/R w/Kevlar
34.8 x 11.5

OP, if you are interested in Nitto's feel free to reach out to us we work very closely with Nitto and would be more than happy to get a set out to you, if you are running 20x9's from the factory they will mount on to your factory wheels just fine, you will a lot of time require a small spacer, most use a 1/4 spacer with 12.50's and are ready to go, I do agree with the above posts though, on a normal level 35's do a lot of times look stuffed, I would recommend going with a 34 or 34.5" tire. If you would like a quote on anything feel free to PM us, post in our vendor here on the boards, email us at [email protected] or call us at 855-432-FAST.

Thanks
Jeremiah

I had 295/65/20 on stock rim and it rubbed at full lock but other than that it was fine. I ended up changing rims after a month.

Leveled w/ Bilstiens @2.1

Mine is levelled with Bilsteins at 2.1 and 275/65/20 Duratracs, which measure just over 34" and I love the way it looks.

Now that's the look I'm aiming for! Nice looking rig! But your talking Greek to me, what's "Leveled w/ Bilstiens @2.1" mean?

Thank you! Instead of using a 2" or 2.5" spacer I decided to go for adjustable shocks. The Bilstiens are a shock with adjustable slots that you put a ring on and that sets your height level. The setting I have it set on is at 2.1 which is just about 2" or so. They have 4 height choices from (stock to 2.5" of lift) in the front.

Thank you! I'm thinking about re-gearing to 4.56 very soon and adding a true-trac LSD. I've read great (older topics) in this forum about 35" tires and 4.56 gearing

4,56's are pretty good with 35's we generally recommend 4.10's, or 4.11's if you are running 35's as your highway RPMs tend to be a little high but if this does not bother you they are pretty sweet, they will make your truck feel like a whole other animal. When it comes time do you gears be sure to get a hold of us we work very close with guys like Yukon, USA Standard, Motive and many others and can for sure get you the best deal on the parts around! If you have any questions on anything please don't hesitate to reach out to us we are always more than willing to talk parts/trucks with anyone :)

Thanks
Jeremiah

Do the shocks affect the ride quality at all? So you don't have spacers at all, you still use the factory springs? Did you lift the rear too? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to learn... Thanks!
