My feet have the tendency to want to hang out the door.

i really don't understand the need to stick your legs out the door when you are working on the dash sit in the middle of the bench seat

Got a full LED treatment for the instrument panel coming, ordered all that last night. Even got lights for the HVAC controls and wiper switch. Only thing I'm missing is the bulb of the gear indicator.

Made it do work today. Only 1200lbs ish.

so your only hauling 1 bail of hay at a time? if you put the tailgate down you could have hauled 2 with some rope and been well under the legal weight limits of the truck.

I don't trust the gate, our rope tying skills and we didn't need anymore than that since there was already 200lbs under that roll, a mini roll in the back of dad's truck and his bed was full too.

lol. i think i would trust the tailgate you your 76 more than the one on your truck or your dads. sounds like you really need to learn about rope and tying stuff down or invest in some ratchet straps.

It ended up being strapped down. lol Rode just fine. Truck rode great, I just wish I didn't have a 20mph cross wind that kept pushing me all over the road.

lol a 2nd roll would have helped keep your truck more stable. your truck should ride nicer than my truck at all times. i have hauled 2000lbs with no issues and really didn't change the way the truck road.

lol that is what driving the ramcharger is like most days. you can feel all the wind. you just learn to deal with it and drive.
