SBL 75 lumen bulbs for the illumination on the main dash lights, SBL 5 lumen bulbs for the add-on gauges, SBL 8.5 lumen BA9 socket lights for the heater and wiper controls (not seen). Also did SBL 5 lumen bulbs for blinkers and high beam indicator in green and blue respectively.
I love it.

The friggin nuts that hold the wires for the ammeter on are stuck good and I can't get to them.

They work great. You can actually see them now. same with the high beam indicator.

snap snap lol.

your old light bulbs must have been dead if you couldn't see them. you really don't need bright led lights in those spots. i tried out a few that would light up a some of the cab when you used them. they were removed pretty quick. you don't want the lights blinding you at night

Or the plastic is just worn out and darkened. lol

These are perfect. Can see them great during the day and they're not blinding at night.

as long as you like them that is all that matter. i had to play with multiple different lights to get things the way i liked.

That Chevy speedo needle works well with the lights too.

you also had lots of good advise from people who have spent money and experimented with different types.

That too. And done a LOT of looking elsewhere too.
It's perfect. The pictures don't do it justice. Only thing I need now is the bulb in the gear shift.

ya. it is real hard to get a good pic of the light output. people who see mine in person usually like the color of the stock filters with a white led. it has a nice cool blue to it.

lol you seem too happy about it. your indicators are smaller than the ones on the newer trucks.

lol So? The lighting in that cluster was junk until I put a way-too-expensive Sylvania bulb in the one side. :flipthebird:

Everything works now and matches the same.

Worked on my driver's window today. Turns out one of the little plastic roller wheels has issues.....split in half and not turning. Lovely.

Fixed the passenger outside door lock, little plastic deal that held it in was broken. Took two small zip ties and sinched it together.

Did a test patch of the green and silver on the roof. Like the green, silver is too bright. Then I blacked out the roof. Soooo just the cowl and hood remain now.

lol. i used stainless steel wire to replace one of those plastic clip in my tailgate. they are good in design but plastic is not that good. i think you can find metal ones that are pretty similar in design.

Zip tie will work for a while.

Decided the driver's door is not original to the truck as the inside of it is red and the passenger is gold like the rest of the truck. Thought the red was some sort of protector coat or something.
